Forest Breakfast Smootie

A healthy way to kick start your Monday, a Forest Breakfast Smootie, refreshingggg!

Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 140g of Raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries (or use a mix)
- Apple juice or water

Recipe:
Chop it up and toss it into a whizzer.  And blend until nearly smooth.

Serve up with a straw, for an added summer feel.

Mehico Tacos, Jamie style!

Here at the Lilly Loray HQ we are going all Me-hicooo on yall. We want to spice up this scorcher of a 
summer with a good olde Jamie recipe, Beef Tacos, yesss!

Recipe:
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/gas 4. Soften the onion and peppers in the olive oil in a large pan over a low 
heat. Add the garlic, paprika and cumin and cook for 1–2 minutes. Add the beef and stir until it has 
browned. Pour in the stock, cover, and cook for 45 minutes.
2. Meanwhile for the salsa, get the kids to mix the tomatoes with the lime juice, spring onion and coriander, then season carefully to taste. 
3. For the guacamole, have the kids mash the avocados with a fork. They can then squeeze in the lime juice, add the crème fraîche, season, and gently mix it all up. 
4. Spread the taco shells out on a baking tray and place in the oven for 3–4 minutes until crisp. Get the kids to fill the shells with the meat, salsa and guacamole or lay everything out and let everyone help themselves.

Bold, Bright and Beautiful

Whilst planning this week's bag post we were looking through our inspiration boards for ideas for a theme. Something we realised is that the bags we are most drawn to at the moment are the ones with bright, bold prints and patterns. Whether that might be on a rucksack, shopper or clutch, we want them all for our holiday wardrobe! Sometimes it can be easier to go for something conservative that will go with everything but we're open to mixing patterns this year. Very exotic!
